A Los Angeles Nordstrom in California fell victim to a disruptive incident on Saturday when a mob of criminals comprising over 30 individuals forcibly entered the store, making off with merchandise valued at nearly $100,000, according to Fox News.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that a group of "criminals" executed the theft at approximately 4 pm that day.

Video footage from inside the store displayed a large assembly of around 30 to 50 individuals donning hooded sweatshirts.

These suspects were observed within the department store, hastily approaching the front entrance while clutching bags.

In their effort to seize as much merchandise as possible, they were seen maneuvering around racks, some of which still held items being swept up.

The police estimated that the total worth of the stolen merchandise ranged between $60,000 and $100,000.

Despite the commotion, the shopping mall itself was not evacuated. However, one individual exposed to bear repellent spray required medical attention from paramedics.

This incident marked the occurrence of a second "flash mob" robbery within Los Angeles County over a week.

The brazen actions of this group underscore the challenges presented by these coordinated and disruptive events in public spaces.
