Rihanna has given birth to her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky, and reports indicated that she gave birth secretly earlier this month.

Sources with direct knowledge of the child's birth told TMZ that the second baby is a boy, and she delivered last August 3 in Los Angeles. The music power couple had their first child together in May of last year and named the child Rza, which is pronounced as "Ree-za."

With the birth of their second baby, Rza, whose complete name is RZA Athelston Mayers as a nod to the famous leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, is now officially a big brother.

The singer, considered a national treasure in her native Barbados, was last seen back in June when she and A$AP Rocky were traveling around the globe. It was noted that she looked far along in her pregnancy at that time.

Rihanna, who had just given birth a few months prior, performed during the Super Bowl halftime show and surprised many with an obvious baby bump. However, this did not seem to slow down the singer, who still blew the roof off with her performance.

What Is the Name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's Second Baby?

As for the name of the couple's second baby, it remains unknown. However, sources say that the newborn's name also starts with R, just like his older brother, Rza. This indicates that their children will have a naming pattern.

However, while there is much speculation as to what the new baby's name really is, the Barbadian singer previously stated that she is not really interested in showing her baby to the public or revealing the actual name, according to Yahoo! Life.

"We just didn't get around to [revealing his name ] yet really. We've just been living. But I guess there's a certain freedom that comes with, kind of, just, like, getting it out there," she previously said in an interview with The Washington Post. She also stated that the Super Bowl was the only event she wanted to do after giving birth. "If I'm going to leave my baby, I'm going to leave my baby for something special."

In another previous interview, the Barbados National Treasure revealed that she actually wants a daughter. "I'm a Black woman. I came from a Black woman, who came from a Black woman, who came from a Black woman and I'm going to give birth to a Black woman. It's a no-brainer. That's who I am. It's the core of who I am in spirit and DNA," she told Essence back in 2019.

Rihanna Sent Michael Cera Flying During Filming

While Rihanna is welcoming her second child, "Barbie" actor Michael Cera talked about working with the Barbadian music icon on the set of his 2013 film "This Is the End."

In one particular scene that he reflected on, he stated that Rihanna actually sent him flying during a slap scene. In that scene, the actor smacks the singer from behind, prompting her to smack him in the face.

"She definitely hit me," Cera admitted. "But I wanted that. I think it's a lot funnier and a lot more convincing. A fake slap just doesn't look good, so she hit me hard." He added. "Yeah, she really sent me flying, and it was great. And now it's on film forever, this pain that I experienced."
