Donald Trump has not stopped ranting about his many cases, from his civil fraud trial in New York to his criminal election case in Georgia. However, New York Attorney General Letitia James slammed him over his frequent rants by pointing out that no matter how much he attacks court staff, the judge, and the witnesses, it does not change the fact that he has been found liable for fraud.

The New York AG noted that there had been large discrepancies in Trump's financial statements and property values, saying, "Mr. Trump may lie, but numbers don't lie. Mr. Trump's entire empire is built on nothing but lies. Sinking sand."

Donald Trump, his two adult sons, Eric and Don Jr., and other executives from The Trump Organization have been accused of engaging in "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation" to inflate the former president's net worth for more favorable loan terms. This scheme has been going on for decades, and now, James is going after him for it.

One of the witnesses presented against Trump and his adult sons was David McArdle, a real estate executive from Cushman & Wakefield, whose firm appraised the value of 71 undeveloped residential units at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York between 2014 and 2015. He valued the units between $43 million and $45.2 million.

However, in his financial statements, Trump claimed in those same years that the land was valued at $101 million. James pointed out that "based on the supporting data, the only source for the increase in the number of units and profit per unit were telephone conversations with Eric Trump."

According to Yahoo! Finance, McArdle contradicted Eric Trump's claim, where he said he did not recall working on the appraisals.

While on the witness stand, state attorney Sherief Gaber asked him, "Do you believe that Eric Trump was not involved in the appraisals you worked on?" McArdle responded, "No."

Donald Trump To Face-Off His Former Lawyer Michael Cohen During the New York Fraud Trial

Speaking of witnesses, New York Attorney General Letitia James's star witness is Trump's estranged attorney, Michale Cohen, who also served as his fixer. Cohen's testimony was delayed for health reasons, but he will finally take the stand soon against his former client.

Cohen is expected to give an insider's view on what is going on inside The Trump Organization, which was found guilty of criminal fraud and tax evasion last year, though Trump was not a co-defendant in that case.

"It appears that I will be reunited with my old client @realDonaldTrump when I testify this Tuesday, October 24th at the @NewYorkStateAG civil fraud trial," Cohen posted on X. "See you there!"

Ivanka Trump Distancing Herself From Her Father, Donald Trump

Meanwhile, as Trump gets mired in various legal troubles, his own daughter, Ivanka Trump, is distancing herself from him.

It was noted that while she was very much present during his 2016 campaign, she is nowhere to be seen right now.

Furthermore, New York Magazine reported that the New York socialite had previously announced that she does not "plan to be involved in politics" going forward. Things might just get a bit complicated for her as New York Attorney General Letitia James is trying to get her to testify. She was one of the original co-defendants, but she was dismissed from the case back in June.

Oral arguments on whether or not Ivanka should testify will be heard this week. However, should she be forced to, it might spell trouble for the former president as Ivanka had already testified against him previously to save her own skin.
