Gwen Stefani has enlisted the help of her husband and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale to mentor her team of contestants on "The Voice."

Rossdale also chimed in on the excitement and tweeted, "This fall, honored to be part of ‪#TheVoice w/ the lovely & talented ‪@gwenstefani ...@NBCTheVoice."

The couple, who been married for 12 years, sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about both of their experiences as newcomers on "The Voice."

Stefani, along with musician and producer Pharrell Williams, were both hired as new coaches for the upcoming season of the hit NBC show.

During the exclusive Access Hollywood interview, Stefani revealed that former "The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera offered Stefani some reassurance as she prepared to take on her new coaching role.

"She [Christina] wrote me this really sweet note right when it all was going down. ... And she was like, 'You're gonna love it, you're gonna be fine,'" Stefani said.

Rossdale also seems to be doing just fine on the show. Stefani gushed over her husband's mentoring skills on her team.

"He is super articulate and he has a really good opinion and he is smart and he's been doing a really good job," she said. "We both have, I think, a lot of experience in the sense that when you look back at all the shows and all the things we've done -- and I mean, we all met like touring together and doing hundreds of shows -- and it's so fun to be in the position to meet [all of the contestants]."

Gavin also complimented his wife's coaching skills, adding, "She's incredible. She really hit the ground running and was really diligent in how she prepared for it which really blew me away. Everyone keeps telling me how happy they are with her. ... I'm happy for her, so it's cool."

The seventh season of "The Voice" premieres on Sept. 22 on NBC at 8/7c. Will you be watching?
