Many people already know about Anthony Galea, the disgraced Canadian sports medical doctor who has been arrested before for providing performance enhancers to athletes.

A new book titled "Blood Sport" written by Tim Elfrink and Gus Garcia-Roberts was recently released and it tells of certain athletes and performance enhancing drugs. In the book, Tiger Woods and Anthony Galea are both linked together for a given time period with multiple visits between one another.

According to the book, Woods and Galea visited each other 14 times. Woods also met with him and his associate a combined 63 times from September 2008 to October 2009 and more than $200,000 was paid to Galea by Woods for medical treatments.

It has already been confirmed that Alex Rodriguez, Santana Moss and Javon Walker are clients of Galea, and all three of them have been suspended for performance enhancing drugs in their respective sport.

Nobody outside the golf world knows for sure if Woods has taken performance enhancers or not, so he is innocent until proven guilty. Woods has not failed any drug tests that we know of and always stresses his non-involvement with performance enhancers. Although, it is a weird coincidence that Woods has struggled ever since Galea has been arrested, and the two haven't done business with each other.

The last time Woods won a major was 2008, six years ago.

Since his 2008 U.S. Open victory, Woods has dealt with devastating defeats, injuries and his driving has become one of the worst on tour. It's unlikely the PGA will undergo a "steroid era" like we saw with Major League Baseball, but this is reminiscent of the baseball star that used to hit 40-50 home runs a year and then, once accused, can barely hit the ball out of the infield. There was a time when Lance Armstrong was considered untouchable, and we all remember how that ended.

Not only has Woods not won a major since 2008, but he only has one second place finish since then, the 2009 PGA Championship.

Woods is currently the No. 9 ranked golfer in the world. For the first time in his career, his body is what's letting him down. At the 2014 British Open, 64-year-old Tom Watson finished five strokes better than Woods. Even 44-year-old Jim Furyk finished an incredible 19 shots ahead of Woods. and 44-year-old Phil Mickelson shot 11 better. Old age doesn't seem to be affecting these guys as much.

Woods has put together one of the greatest golf résumés of all time. However, his involvement with Anthony Galea will leave many skeptical. Woods' last chance this year at winning major No. 15 will be at the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.
