Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley appeared on the Mike Missanelli show on Friday to talk about sports as he so often does. Eventually, a caller asked the 10-time NBA All-Star if he was still friends with Tiger Woods.

Barkley said, "We're not friends anymore."

Barkley has always been a brutally honest individual. He never gives a politically loaded answer or tells people what they want to hear. Woods and Barkley used to be friends, kept a close relationship and talked to each other for about "once a week for 15 years."

According to Barkley, Woods changed in 2009 after the infidelity scandal, and the two haven't talked in years. He also explained how Woods' attempts at catching the great Jack Nicklaus' 18 career PGA Majors took over Woods' life.

Barkley plays a lot of golf himself, and while he is still working on perfecting his swing, he continues to be convinced that golf is just a game, and people should have fun.

Obviously the stakes are much different for Woods because golf is what he does for a living, and he is one of the greatest of all-time. Still, Barkley added that he feels that Woods let golf become everything in his life. Not only has Woods lost much of his communication with long time friend Barkley, but many other people also have said that Woods has become very anti-social.

Woods also decided to change caddies, switching from Steve Williams to Joe LaCava. Woods and Williams were a dynamic pair winning more than 10 majors together. Woods has made it clear he wants to do things his way.

Barkley said that he feels "sad" for Woods because of how closed publicly he has become. The basketball legend has had his share of rough times as well, the most notable being a DUI conviction in 2008. However, Barkley said he knew he would need help from friends and others, unlike Woods.

When Woods used to communicate and be more sociable, it looked as if he was having more fun on the golf course as well as more success. With Woods not winning a single major in six years, he may have to watch out that Barkley doesn't catch up to him.
