Fans got a small taste of the new "Breaking Bad" spinoff, "Better Call Saul," this weekend when AMC released a first teaser and air date.

In a short video clip, actor Bob Odenkirk is seen as "Breaking Bad's" errant lawyer Saul Goodman talking to a client.

"Lawyers, we're like health insurance. You hope you never need it, but man oh man, not having it? No," the criminal lawyer said.

"Breaking Bad" fans probably noticed that Goodman's hair was a lot thicker than usual in the teaser, which is because the setting of the show takes place in 2002.

Before the teaser clip ends, it shows that the air date is February 2015. Fans in the U.K. will be able to watch the popular series on Netflix, reported The Guardian.

Last month, the show released a billboard in Albuquerque, Mexico, promoting a real number to contact services from "James M. McGill," Goodman's alter ego. If you dial the number, an automated message can be heard with Odenkirk's voice.

In one episode of "Breaking Bad," the wisecracking attorney said, "If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it," reports Rolling Stone.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show's co-creator Vince Gilligan revealed that the show will jump back and forth in time and be a continuation of the "nonlinear storytelling" used on Breaking Bad.

"We like jumping around in time," he said in July. "I would definitely point you in the direction of anything that was possible storytelling-wise on Breaking Bad is possible on 'Better Call Saul.'"

Gilligan said, "I hesitate to say it, but it is indeed a period piece. I can't believe it myself -- it's like it was yesterday, but it was 12 years ago."

He also admitted that he is to blame for the delay in the series premiere, which was initially suppose to air in November.

"We could have made the deadline, but I am slow as mud," he said. "I still feel I'm very slow for television."
