"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" husband Apollo Nida has been ordered to begin his 8-year jail sentencing on Sept. 10, RadarOnline reports.

Nida will be surrendering himself at the FMC Lexington prison in Lexington, Kentucky at noon on his assigned day, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.

Nida's 8-year jail bid follows his guilty plea to bank fraud and identity theft.

A written affidavit obtained by RO states, "Nida created fake companies, enabling him to access databases to find individuals to rip off. He opened fake bank accounts under those real names and funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into those accounts."

At the time of his guilty plea, Nida claimed that the success of his wife Phaedra Parks led him to commit bank fraud.

According to Accessatlanta.com, Nida revealed in court that he felt massive amounts of pressure to "keep up" with his already successful and financially stable wife.

In order to feel financially adequate, Nida took it upon himself to carry out the bank fraud scheme in order to "sustain his lifestyle."  Eventually, Nida admitted that he got, "...sucked in and engulfed and lost sight of things."

Since Nida's jail sentencing, Parks has distanced herself from her husband's legal drama.

Nida and Parks' marriage is so strained that Nida slammed his wife last month for not showing up to his jail sentencing.

"I mean my wife didn't even f**king show up to my sentencing," Nida said during his interview with Atlanta's B-100 radio station. "I'm still salty about that, but whatever."

Nida was later asked about whether he feels his marriage will last through his time in jail and he simply responded, "I doubt it."

In addition to his 8-year jail sentencing, Nida is also required to pay $1.9 million in restitution penalty.
