The 2014 NFL season is flying by before our very eyes, and each and every football week has an exciting set of games.

There's been a lot of surprises and disappointments in these first two weeks, and we've got the biggest winners and losers listed for you below:

Biggest Winners

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles don't like the first half. For the second consecutive game, the Eagles trailed by 17 points and again they escaped with a win. They defeated the Indianapolis Colts 30-27 on the road, and are now 2-0. Despite not scoring a single first half touchdown, the Eagles scored 24 points in the second half.

Darren Sproles having over 200 combined yards doesn't hurt things, either. "Foles to Sproles" has a nice ring to it.

Chicago Bears

What a win by the Bears.

The San Francisco 49ers were playing their first-ever game at Levi's Stadium at Santa Clara, and the Bears spoiled that party. The 49ers led 20-7 heading into the final quarter, but that lead wouldn't last. The Bears outscored the 49ers 21-0 in the fourth quarter to steal a victory on the road. That Bears victory helped avoid an 0-2 start.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers had an embarrassing Week 1 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. It looked certain to football fans everywhere that 0-2 was staring the Chargers right in the face. Instead, the Chargers rose to the challenge and beat the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks at home. High temperatures certainly played a factor.

Biggest Losers

New York Giants

There's no doubt who the biggest losers of this week was. The Giants lost their home opener to the Arizona Cardinals, who had their backup quarterback (Drew Stanton) behind center. The Giants couldn't force a single turnover, and now find themselves at 0-2. Not only did the Giants lose, but the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins all won. Essentially, the Giants went 0-4 this week.

San Francisco 49ers

What a great opportunity the 49ers had. The Seahawks had already lost to the Chargers earlier, so the 49ers had a chance to move to 2-0 and take the NFC West lead. Unfortunately for 49ers fans, the team faded away in the fourth quarter, squandering a 13-point fourth quarter lead. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick had four turnovers on the day.

New Orleans Saints

A lot of people picked this team to represent the NFC in this year's Super Bowl. So far, things haven't looked too good as the team is now 0-2. Both games were on the road, but the defense has looked terrible, and a loss to the Cleveland Browns isn't what New Orleans fans expected. It's time for the Saints to start marching in with a victory.
