During a recent interview with "Access Hollywood Live," ex-"The View" panelist, Sherri Shepherd weighed in on her thoughts about the show's newest season.

The latest season of "The View" includes a semi-new panel of women that incorporates veterans Rosie O' Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg, and newcomers Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace as replacements for Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy.

Though Shepherd is no longer part of the show's panel of women, she did give the daytime show a fairly decent grade given what's she's seen so far on "The View."

"I would give them a B. Because you have to be able to go somewhere [from there]," Shepherd told "Access Hollywood Live" on Monday morning.

"I've been watching 'The View' every day. I love Hot Topics. I love Rosie Perez. I think everybody has got to figure out what they're doing and they've got to jive. It took me three years to get it together!"

Shepherd then went on to express her joy towards working on "The View" for 7 years.

"I'm looking at the Hot Topics and I'm throwing out jokes [at home] and I'm like, 'Nobody hears me!' But that's how much I love it. And that's the thing - it gets so heated and you feel like you want to be a part of it," she said. "But I did it for seven years and it was wonderful. Now it's on to bigger and better things."

In a separate interview with the "Wendy Williams Show," Shepherd also dished on her current legal battle with ex-husband Lamar Sally over newborn baby L.J., born via surrogate on Aug. 5, People reports.

"I have a lot of lawyers and I'm in court right now and it's very public and it's very painful," Shepherd told Wendy.

Despite her legal drama, Shepherd is already moving forward and working on a new project since leaving "The View."

According to "Access Hollywood Live," Shepherd currently stars as the wicked step mother in Disney's Cinderella on Broadway till the end of November.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leaks has already been confirmed as Shepherd's replacement.
