Chris Algieri is confident that he will score a convincing win against Manny Pacquiao in their upcoming World Boxing Organization welterweight title fight on Nov. 22 at the Venetian Resort in Macau, China.

Algieri said in an interview with BoxingScene that he will not let the judges ruin his bid to win a second world title, saying that he is looking to dominate Pacquiao for the entire fight to score a lopsided win.

"I plan on dominating the fight," Algieri said. "I don't want to leave anything in the judges hands. I am going to dominate the fight from the beginning."

Algieri was a relatively unknown fighter to most boxing fans before the 30-year-old scored a split decision win against Ruslan Provodnikov in their WBO light welterweight title showdown in June.

While Algieri is now a world champion and has an impressive 20-0 record with eight knockouts, most boxing analysts are still convinced that Pacquiao will run away with an easy win.

The Huntington, New York native is aware that most fans and experts are already counting him out, but he vowed to prove them wrong in the biggest fight of his career similar to what he did during the Provodnikov fight.

"People out there didn't know who I was or anything about me," Algieri said. "They didn't know who I am or what I bring to the table. This is how the sport works and we are ready for this. You get your chance and you win and then you keep winning and keep moving up."

Former world champion Brandon Rios, who lost to Pacquiao in November last year, expressed support to Algieri, who is looking to become the sixth fighter to defeat the Filipino boxing icon.

Rios said that Algieri doesn't have enough punching power to score a knockout win, but he believes that unbeaten champion can out-box the former pound-for-pound king.

"Algieri's a great boxer. He doesn't have power, but he's a great boxer," Rios said via Hustle Boss. "I've worked with him both times. That's why I told him that he would beat Provodnikov and out-box him. Algieri has the reach and if he stays on the outside, Algieri will do great."
