On Wednesday, Iggy Azalea took to Twitter to respond to FlipMode Squad rapper Rah Digga's statement that Azalea is "not real hip-hop," E! News reports.

According to HollywoodLife.com, Rah Digga slammed the Australian rapper on Tuesday during an interview with Thisis50.

During the interview, Digga revealed that she doesn't believe the "gangsta" persona that Azalea allegedly portrays in her music.

"Iggy Azalea ... I can't really get into her. Because it's just not real to me," Digga said. "There is a white girl from Australia that spits in an Australian accent, and her name is Chelsea Jane. That I can get into. Like, teach me Australian Hip-Hop culture. Don't come to America and try to convince me that you're Gangsta, Boo ... We're not going to believe you if you're trying to convince us that you're out here trap shooting."

She continued, "That's the problem like this. There's too many passes being given ... When did it become wrong to call out people that don't write their own rhymes? When did that become a crime in hip ... This is hip-hop at the end of the day."

Despite Digga's digs at Azalea's music, the Australian rapper responded with a nonchalant message on Twitter.

"I honestly don't really mind if I'm described as rap or pop. My passion is purely making music and entertaining," Azalea wrote on Twitter.

She continued, "its definetly funny seeing ppl get so emotional over it all. What does it matter? music is music and many enjoy mine, no need to feel upset."

Rah Digga isn't the only rapper that has slammed Azalea for not representing "real hip-hop."

During the 2014 BET hip hop awards, Minaj took a subliminal jab at Azalea while accepting her award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.

"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is that, when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," Minaj said during her acceptance speech.

Azalea responded to Minaj's subliminal dig in the same nonchalant fashion she responded to Rah Digga.

Azalea took to Instagram at the time and wrote, "I have to say the general explosion of pettiness online is hard to ignore. If I had won the BET Award that would've been great but it wasn't my year & I don't mind - so you shouldn't either. Generally speaking I'm unbothered by anything that 'happened' at the BET Awards and just feel worn out by everyone trying to make me have wars with people all the time. I hate to see everyone exhausting themselves on my behalf over things that I'm still not 100% sure even exist & don't matter."
