Brad Pitt opened up about what his marriage to Angelina Jolie means to him. The couple who had been together for almost ten years and have six kids together tied the knot Aug. 23The 50-year-old actor opens up about his wedding in next month's British GQ Magazine.

Mr. and Mrs. Pitt said their I do's in a private ceremony held at their own house in the South of France on a Saturday. The couple was engaged in 2012 and decided to marry this summer of 2014. Somehow they were able to keep everything under wraps until after they were officially married. Now Brad Pitt wants to make it clear that although they waited to be married, marriage is important to them.

"I wouldn't say [marriage is] just a title," Pitt said, "there's more to it than that." said Brad. After being a devoted dad and partner to actress, writer, director and humanitarian Angelina Jolie, he has surely proved that he will never leave Angie's side. Jolie wore a Versace wedding gown with drawings of her children running down her veil. Pax, Zahara, Knox, Maddox, Vivienne and Shiloh were always reportedly wondering when mommy and daddy would get married. Finally that day arrived and they were the biggest part of it.

Pitt also commented on his good friend George Clooney's wedding to Amal Alamuddin, which was a bit more public than his. "Well, you know, George is extremely accessible. He's one of our best representatives," Pitt joked (after Clooney once called him "unreachable.") "He's funny as sh**. He's a joy to be around. I guess maybe I'm more of a miserable b**tard. I'm a bit of a loner, you know? I'm more quiet by nature. And coming from hillbilly country, I'm probably more reserved."

Brad also explained that we might not be seeing much of him in films, as he wants to spend more time with his kids. "I've been slowing down for a while now," he says. "And slowly transitioning to other things. And, truthfully, I do want to spend more time with my kids before they're grown up and gone."
