Television host and actor Mario Lopez makes his debut as an author with his memoir "Just Between Us." The "Saved by The Bell" star explains that the book demonstrates his true importance for family and his Hispanic heritage.

"My roots have been essential, because they inculcated in me the fact that family is the number one priority," Lopez said. "My parents are Mexican immigrants from Culiacan. From them I learned about love for my family and the importance of working to achieve your dreams."

Lopez is the host of the celebrity entertainment news program "Extra" and he also has his own radio show "On With Mario." The charming host known for his famous dimples raves about his kids Gia, 4 and Nico, 18 months with wife Courtney Mazza. "Gia is taking Spanish classes and Nico already talks in Spanish."

In "Just Between Us" Mario candidly opens up about his 2004 cheating scandal with then wife actress Ali Landry. His Spring Break in Mexico resulted in the annulment from his wife and photos of his betrayal that will forever hunt the beloved star.

"I had never addressed certain relationships, especially the truth and the handling of what happened in my first marriage," he writes in his book. "I got inebriated and a little too friendly with a young lady. When it was time to return home, lightning hit me with the truth: I wasn't in love. But I walked down the aisle [anyway]."

Mario's ultimate purpose for his book is to give thanks to his fans and loved ones who helped him get where he is today. The 41-year-old quotes, "That's why it's entitled 'Between Us,' because I've dedicated it too my family and to the people who have supported and inspired me over the years."
