Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose remains doubtful against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday as he is still bothered by his injured ankles, reports revealed.

After missing two straight games, Rose made his return on Wednesday in their 95-86 win over the Milwaukee Bucks where he posted 13 points and seven assists in 31 minutes.

However, the 26-year-old point guard admitted after the match that he tweaked his ankles again. Rose did not participate in Friday morning's shootaround, and will decide before the match if he will play or not.

"I'm feeling the same," Rose told reports via ESPN Chicago. "A little sore, but [I'll] come in tonight, warm up a little bit more and see how it goes. If not, if I can't play, don't worry about it. I'm trying to be in it for the long haul."

Rose, who hurt both ankles in their 114-108 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, also admitted after the match that he was too tentative against the Bucks.

"I just wasn't able to play the way that I normally play," Rose said. "I think I had no fast-break points, didn't attack the way that I wanted to, but I just wanted to get that win."

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said after the shootaround that the decision will be made by their medical staff after talking to the former Most Valuable Player, who averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 assists in his first three games this season.

When asked about the growing frustration among fans about Rose's health, Thibodeau reiterated that fans should be patient. Aside from the injured ankles, the former Memphis standout is still trying to get his confidence back after missing the majority of last season because of a torn meniscus in his right knee.

"He's been out a long time, people tend to forget it," Thibodeau said of Rose, who played in just 10 games last season. "Everyone wants it back in a day, it doesn't happen like that. When you miss the amount of time that he's missed, it's going to take a while for him to get back and we all have to understand that."
