With Apple unveiling the iPhone 5s recently, the next Apple gadget getting all the buzz when it comes to rumors is the iPad 5.

The iPad 5 is way overdue giving us the reason to think that its release date will be due soon. The last iPad version was released October of last year just about six months after the release of iPad 3. It is not surprising anymore for the tech giant to bring in another product that will be in line with their other new items too.

With Apple introducing firsthand the iPhone 5 in September of last year, then after a month there were hints with the iPad 5. If such pattern continues on within the year, its rumored release date can probably be set in October. A French website called MacG even bravely set a date that is October 15, 2014.

When it comes to screen size, there are rumors saying that the iPad 5 will have a similar screen size at 9.7 inches and the same resolution at 2048 x 1536, Retina display. It is rumored that it will have a GF2 touchscreen same kind of technology used for the iPad Mini. 9to5Mac even reported that it will be thin at 7. 2mm. In short, it would have big changes when it comes to size.

Apple fans can also potentially expect for the fingerprint scanning technology to be also become a part of the iPad 5. It can also be a good way for the company to have everyone taking their Touch ID security at a very serious note.

For its design rumors, the iPad 5 is thought of to have bezels that are narrower and thinner. Alleged photo leaks of the coming Apple tablet were spread out by the young Sonny Dickson in his own site. There were also pictures of leaked cases for it sent out from Tactus.

Other iPad 5 rumors that are most likely to happen include an 8MP rear camera, a 128GB storage model, and its price probably starting at £399 for its 16GB model.
