The final week of the 2014 NFL regular season is almost here.

With just one week left in the season, playoff hopes and dreams will be answered for football fans everywhere.

Here are five teams who have to win their Week 17 game:

1. San Diego Chargers

After losing two consecutive games, the San Diego Chargers defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling Saturday Night Football game. With that win, the Chargers are now 9-6, and sit in the final No. 6 seed wild card spot. In their next game, Philip Rivers and the Chargers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. It's never easy to win on the road in Kansas City, but the Chiefs are still alive and will be playing hard. If the Baltimore Ravens lose to the Cleveland Browns next week, then the Chargers clinch a playoff spot automatically.

2. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are currently the No. 1 seed in the NFC with an impressive 11-4 record. With eight wins in their last nine games, the Seahawks look just as good as last season. Still, the Seahawks need to defeat the St. Louis Rams at home next week to secure the No. 1 seed for the playoffs. With the No. 1 seed, the Seahawks can have home field advantage and a bye week, just like last postseason. The Seahawks have the No. 1 defense in the league led by cornerback Richard Sherman and the "Legion of Boom."

3. Carolina Panthers

It's a winner take all game for the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons will face off to see who wins the division. Even though neither team even has a winning record, the winner of this game will clinch the No. 4 seed in the NFC. The Panthers don't have history on their side as no team has ever won the NFC South two consecutive seasons. Cam Newton is back from his car accident, and the Panthers are on fire winning their last three consecutive games. If the Panthers win this game, most likely they will face the Detroit Lions or the Arizona Cardinals in the first round.

4. Atlanta Falcons

Even though the Falcons are just 6-9 overall, they are 5-0 in the division. The Falcons control their own destiny, and with a home win against the Panthers next week, they will automatically win the NFC South. The Falcons defense has been terrible this season, but the Panthers offense hasn't exactly been a juggernaut. The Falcons defeated the Panthers in Week 11 in Carolina, and a win in Atlanta in Week 17 would give them the NFC South title.

5. Green Bay Packers

The Detroit Lions haven't won a single game in Green Bay, Wisconsin since 1991. The Packers appear to be unbeatable at Lambeau Field, as they are 7-0 at home this season. Since 1991, the Lions are 0-23 playing at Lambeau Field, and the Packers don't intend to start losing now. The Packers lost to the Lions in Week 3, but with a win here, they could secure a top three seed in the NFC. Aaron Rodgers is the MVP favorite with 36 touchdowns and five interceptions, and this game will have huge playoff implications. On the other hand, the Packers did win their last Super Bowl as a wild card team.
