Five people were shot and wounded during Chris Brown's performance at San Jose, California's Fiesta nightclub early Sunday morning, San Jose Mercury News reports.

Prior to the gunshots, which were fired at approximately 1:20 a.m., Brown was performing his single, "Loyal." In the middle of his performance, Brown stopped and acknowledged an erupting argument between two people inside of the club.

Brown commented, "Oh them n***as getting it in over there." Shots were immediately fired after his comment.

TMZ obtained video footage of the violent scene that was initially captured by many of Brown's fans, who posted their videos from the night on social media.

In the TMZ compilation of the videos, Brown is seen being ushered off the stage by his security team. Fans immediately run for the exit and respond to the gunshots with screams and cries for help.

When police officials arrived at the scene, they discovered four people who suffered from gunshot wounds and they were all rushed to the hospital. One additional person was also shot and admitted themselves into the hospital as well. Fortunately, all victims are expected to survive, police officials told San Jose Mercury News.

Following the violent brawl, Brown tweeted and later deleted a message to his fans assuring them that he is ok. The tweet reportedly read, "I'm 100."

Brown was hired to perform at the Fiesta nightclub as part of a "birthday bash" thrown by San Francisco hip-hop station 106 KMEL, Rolling Stone reports.

Back in August, Brown performed at another event that erupted in a shootout, Rolling Stone adds.

Death Row Records executive Suge Knight was reportedly shot six times at a pre-MTV Video Music Awards party hosted by Chris Brown in Los Angeles at the time.

Following the incident, Brown's reps released a statement that read, "This incident did not involve Chris; he was merely the host of the event. He has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation."
