Britney Spears has announced that she will hold a two-year residency in Las Vegas where she will perform 96 shows. The pop star is infamous for her lip syncing, however, and documents allegedly obtained by New York Daily News, say Spears does not plan on changing.

According to Confidenti@l, a gossip division of New York Daily News, when Spears first announced her "Britney: Piece of Me" Las Vegas stint, a source told them that she would be lip-syncing.

"Britney does not sing," the source said. "She is being paid a lot of money to lip-sync."

Confidenti@l says that after they reported that Spears would pretend-sing her way through Vegas, a "phone guide" sheet was created to tell Planet Hollywood employees how to respond when asked about Spears' shows. Confidenti@l says their source, who is "connected to Planet Hollywood," gave them a copy of the sheet which reads "Do not share this with anyone outside of Planet Hollywood."

"'Yes! She will be singing live!' 'Certainly she will be singing live!' 'Yes, all vocals will be live!' 'No lip syncing will happen at the show,'" the sheet allegedly says.

The sheet also tells employees to tell fans that "Yes of course! There will be a special live band at ALL DATES," but a "special notes" section of the cheat sheet disagrees.

"All vocals will be prerecorded," the sheet says, adding that the live band "will be prerecorded also."

The sheet also directs employees to "try and stay in the margins of the provided answers and refrain from elaborating replies."

"They aren't going to be happy about you having this document," Confidenti@l's source said. "They don't want fans knowing Britney is going to be calling this tour in."

Caesars Entertainment, the company that manages Planet Hollywood, denied the claims.

"While a reference guide was distributed to assist our sales agents with the vast number of questions they are expected to answer in relation to the show, any reports suggesting that agents were coached on how to address queries surrounding the show's production and creative concept are completely inaccurate," a rep for Caesars Entertainment said.

Spears' eighth studio album, Britney Jean, will be released Dec. 3
