While there have not been any significant trade rumors in the last 24 hours, the buzz has continued to swirl around some players such as Browns receiver Josh Gordon.

Gordon's name has been in trade talks for weeks and he said to the media that he is now starting to get "tired of it."

"I honestly wish if it was going to happen it would have happened already, instead of dragging on," he said. "If a trade offer came in and that's what they wanted to do, so be it. If not, then just let it be known that this is where I'm gonna be. Honestly, it's part of the game and I'm dealing with it."

In other non-trade related NFL news, the always-controversial Dallas Cowboys receiver, Dez Bryant, is again making headlines. This time its because Bryant seemed to make the case that he is as good as Calvin Johnson.

"I believe I can do whatever he can do," Bryant said. "I think it's just a pride thing. When it comes to football, just being on the field, it's a mindset and having a mentality. I honestly believe when I'm there, I'll be feeling like there's nothing I can't do. Whatever the coaches ask me to do, I'm going to do it.

Bryant then tried to downplay his comments by saying that he didn't intend to say he was any better than Johnson.

"Truth be told, I don't compare myself to nobody," Bryant said Monday during an appearance on 103.3 FM ESPN in Dallas. "I think Calvin's the best at what he [does]. I think I'm the best at what I do."

Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones appreciated Bryant's self confidence but did want to add any fuel to the fire either and said he believes Johnson is the best in the league.

"I think that Johnson at Detroit has got to be the best receiver or best end target, if you want to put it like that, the best guy to go to right now in the league," Jones said on KRLD-FM. "Dez can aspire to be that and has a chance to be that."

The Cowboys are in first place in one of the weakest divisions in football in the NFC East.
