The New York Knicks are disappointing their fans once again. The Knicks are just 10-38 with the 28th ranked offense and the 20th ranked defense. This team needs help on both sides of the court, and they need to get younger. It's rebuilding time in the Big Apple.

Here are five players the Knicks should keep an eye as the trade deadline approaches.

1. Reggie Jackson

The big name on the NBA trade market is Oklahoma City Thunder guard Reggie Jackson. Jackson is still just 24 years old. Jackson's contract has a qualifying offer of $3.2 million after this season potentially making him a free agent. Rumors have been swirling around that Jackson and superstar Kevin Durant don't get along very well. The Knicks could certainly use a young like Jackson. This season Jackson is averaging 13.7 points per game and 4.4 assists per game despite playing under 30 minutes each night. As talented as Jose Calderon is, he is 33 years old.

2. Robert Sacre

The Lakers have been shopping their two big men, Jordan Hill and Robert Sacre, but haven't had any buyers so far. Jordan Hill is the team's best rebounder, but the Knicks have to stay away because of the large price tag of $9 million per season. Sacre could be a nice little investment for the Knicks. Sacre is still just 25 years old and will make less than $1 million over the next two seasons before becoming a free agent. The 7-foot center is averaging 7.8 rebounds per 36 minutes this season. No risk, possible reward.

3. Chris Andersen

The Knicks may not be soft, but they don't impose fear into their opponents. Team President Phil Jackson knows a thing or two about having a tough player on his squad, having previously coached Dennis Rodman. Chris Andersen isn't the next Rodman, but he can change games in the paint area. Andersen is averaging 9.1 rebounds per 36 minutes this season, and he can be a valuable player come playoff time. Assuming the Knicks can make the playoffs next year.

4. Marco Belinelli

Tim Hardaway, Jr. leads the Knicks in perimeter shots made this season, but he isn't shooting very efficiently. With JR Smith gone, the Knicks need more of an outside threat to help spread the floor and give Carmelo Anthony single teams. Italian shooting guard Marco Belinelli could be their guy. Belinelli is in the final year of his contract, and he will have a lot of teams contacting him this offseason, including his current club, the San Antonio Spurs. The 28-year-old shooting guard is an excellent outside shooter and will come at small price that won't destroy the Knicks salary cap. If the Knicks can add Belinelli this season, they may be able to restructure for a new long-term deal.

5. Lavoy Allen

Arguably the most underrated player in the NBA today. The young power forward has grabbed the third most rebounds on the Indiana Pacers this season. Despite not starting a single game, Lavoy Allen is still averaging career high 6.5 rebounds per night and an impressive 11.3 rebounds per 36 minutes. The Knicks need defense, and Allen would be a terrific addition. For the Pacers, they could afford to lose Allen because they have great defenders such as Roy Hibbert, David West and Luis Scola. In case you were wondering, the Knicks rank 29th in rebounding this season.

The NBA Trade deadline is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. EST
