Comedy Central recently announced that comedian and actor Kevin Hart would be the appointed "roast master" for the "Roast of Justin Bieber" airing on March 30.

"I don't normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs ... It's his big 21. It's about to be operation roast everyone's *ss," Hart said in a press release according to Entertainment Weekly.

Hart also took to Twitter to playfully challenge Bieber in honor of his upcoming comedy roast.

Last month, Comedy Central and Bieber announced the singer's upcoming roast that would be held around the time of his 21st birthday," Us Weekly reported.

Bieber explained via Twitter that he "worked hard" for many years to finally be granted his wish to be roasted by his peers on Comedy Central.

It is unclear what topics of Bieber's controversial life his peers will touch on, but Entertainment Weekly suggests that Bieber's past vandalism, assault charges, controversial deposition, and racial slurs will most likely be mentioned during his roast.

News of Hart's involvement in Bieber's roast comes on the heels of Bieber apologizing to his fans for his bad behavior in the past. Bieber recently appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and admitted to being scared of appearing on the show for fear of being judged and criticized.

Following his interview, Bieber posted a Facebook video apologizing to his fans for his past actions.

"I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited, or basically how I've been acting the past year and a half. And I'm not who I was pretending to be," he said in the dimly lit video. "I say pretending [because] often we pretend to be something we're not as a cover up of what we're truly feeling inside."

Bieber then went on to name "growing up" as the reason why he' s acted so inappropriately over the years.

"Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard. I want people to know how much I care about people. I'm not that person to say 'I don't give a f*ck.' I'm not that kid. I'm a person who genuinely cares," he said.
