Miley Cyrus' short S&M film "Tongue Tied" has been pulled from the first-ever New York City Porn Film Festival, the New York Post reports.

Just this Tuesday it was announced that an extended version of Cyrus' NSFW film would be featured in the festival, but now Cyrus' representatives are coming forward to deny the pop singer's participation in the porn screening.

"Miley was proud to make a film with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Jones. She did not instigate this festival submission and is not participating in any way," a spokesperson for Cyrus told the NY Post.

According to the Huffington Post, Cyrus' spokesperson claims that the Festival's organizer, Simon Leahy, misled Cyrus' team when he reached out about submitting Cyrus' film in the festival. Cyrus' representatives allege that Leahy made no mention of the festival being for porn and tricked Cyrus and her team into believing it was for something else.

Leahy has since deleted any mention of Cyrus from the Porn Festival's website and Facebook page. However, Leahy insists that he did not mislead Cyrus and was initially granted permission to show the film from Cyrus' team.

"Basically they didn't do their due diligence," Leahy explained. "We asked to show it at the festival. Because the word porn is involved, basically the media has just sensationalized it and turned it into a click bait story. Obviously the story went totally viral that freaked everyone out. We don't want to cause any harm to Miley and her image."

A shorter version of "Tongue Tied" can be seen on YouTube. The two-minute clip of a nearly naked Cyrus tied up in bondage was originally used as Cyrus' intro for her Bangerz tour performance last summer.

"Tongue Tied" is directed by mixed-media artist and filmmaker Quentin Jones.

The first-ever NYC Porn film festival is scheduled to begin on Feb. 27 and run until March 1 in Bushwick and will also feature a porn film from adult entertainer and reality-TV star Tila Tequila.
