Justin Bieber has been causing many issues during his ongoing "Believe" tour in South America. This past weekend, the "Bad Day" singer added another to his list of controversies, offending many Argentine fans by mishandling a flag thrown onstage.

So far, Bieber's list of scandals in South America includes: walking off the stage in the middle of the concert after getting hit by a water bottle, being caught coming out of a brothel on camera, getting filmed by a Brazilian woman while sleeping in a hotel room, and being recently charged with vandalism by spray-painting graffiti on a wall.

The most recent controversy sparked at the Saturday night's performance in Buenos Aires, when his fans threw a pair of Argentine flags onto the stage and Bieber in return wiped the flags across and off the stage, using his shoes and microphone stand. Many of the pop star's Argentine fans were offended by his thoughtless action, which was caught on many cell phone cameras and uploaded on Youtube.

It is noted that disgracing Argentina's flag is a crime, which is "punishable by up to four years in prison." Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager, tweeted that he "spent the day dealing with the pandemonium [Bieber] caused in Argentina."

Justin Bieber played another show in Buenos Aires the following Sunday. The singer, who allegedly claimed to be suffering from food poisoning, cut the show short after only an hour. The fans who paid up to $320 per ticket were upset, and booed Bieber.
