While attending the 8th annual All-Star Bowling Classic with the Sandals Foundation, Gabrielle Union spoke with People and revealed her husband and NBA star, Dwyane Wade, still writes her love letters.

"They're about love and devotion and his feelings," Union said. "And they're really impressive. Like, at first I thought he had a ghost writer."

Wade also spoke to People and added he is fond of how Union is "appreciative" of how hard he works.

"She's in support of my career, my choices, and when you're the man of the family sometimes you have to make choices and she supports me in them, good or bad, and that's unmatched, so I'm appreciative."

Wade and Union tied the knot last August, and Union famously said she made Wade sign a pre-nup.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Style, Union explained she had Wade sign a pre-nup because she has no intention to "latch onto" his fame and money for her benefit. She is successful also and therefore wanted both herself and Wade to continue each of their financial success and fame individually.

"For women in Hollywood, when they're coupling, everything is about the brand. Everything is about latching on to a rising star, so you can kick your heels up. That's never been my story, ever," Union said.

"I make sure to let people know all of the hard work that's gone into my career. Now that it's time to get married to a man who happens to play basketball and has done well for himself, I want to make it clear that I have in no way hitched my wagon to his star. I have my own wagon and star."

Following their appearance at the All-Star Bowling Classic, Wade and Union went on vacation to Haiti, the YBF reports.

The Wades were accompanied on their romantic getaway by Angela Simmons and Chris and Adrienne Bosh.
