Alejandra Espinoza says she is ready to feel the pain of childbirth because she is tired of all the pills she has had to take during pregnancy, according to People en Español.

"I'm thinking of having it natural, I will just [take] Pitocin to begin contractions, but I do not want to get an epidural," she said, in an interview with TV Mezcal. "I want to make it as normal and natural as possible."

"I do not want to be medicated because I take seven pills everyday. Two weeks ago, I injected once a day, now I inject twice a day. I'm tired of medicines, I'd rather be in pain," she said.

Espinoza is 36 weeks pregnant and thought she was going to have the baby this past weekend. She went to the hospital but doctors told her it was a "false alarm," and she returned home after receiving a routine exam.

"This is what is happening right now. Matteo weighs about 8 pounds and I think he is ready to meet Mom," Espinoza wrote on Instagram Friday along with a picture of her laying in a hospital bed.

Since the false alarm, Espinoza has posted a few more photos on Instagram. One photo shows a gift for her baby of handmade head-to-toe clothing including little booties.

Espinoza also posted several pictures of her friends and family celebrating the upcoming baby at baby showers and parties. She also posted a picture Monday showing her still-pregnant belly in a pink dress.

Most recently Espinoza posted a picture Tuesday promoting her new show La Banda that will begin March 7. The show was created with help from Simon Cowell and will feature contestants trying to become "the next Latino boyband." Espinoza will host the show.
