"Nashville" is set to return on April 1, but an official description for Episode 16 of Season 3 has already been released.

"Rayna refuses to let Deacon wallow in his condition, but her support only frustrates him and pushes him away. Meanwhile, Avery, Gunnar and Scarlett are opening for Rascal Flatts on tour, but, when her past public meltdown haunts her on social media, Scarlett becomes wary of performing again," according to Spoilers Guide.

"Meanwhile, Jeff and Layla continue to blur the lines of business and pleasure, sending Layla into a state of confusion," the description continued. "Will is enjoying his new writing partner Kevin, but hits a bump in the road when Kevin is mysteriously no longer available. Then, Sadie finds herself in a dangerous situation with her relentless ex-husband."

Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera is returning to the world of acting and has inked a multi-episode deal to star in the ABC series.

Us Weekly Magazine reports the 34-year "The Voice" judge has signed on with the show, and she has started to tease her character. The "Say Something" singer previously starred alongside Cher in the 2010 musical hit "Burlesque." Aguilera also sang eight of the 10 top songs on the soundtrack for the movie, with Cher performing the remaining two.

"Jade's been busy studying her lines," a brunette Aguilera recently posted on Twitter and Instagram. "Can't wait for #Nashville."

The Staten Island-born Aguilera appeared as a child actor in such television series as "Star Search," and "The Mickey Mouse Club." Aguilera has also spawned such top 100 Billboard hits as "What a Girl Wants," "Come On Over Baby (All I Want is You)" and "Genie in a Bottle."

In 2002, Aguilera won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Beautiful."

The singer returned this year for her fifth season as a judge on "The Voice." In 2014, she and husband Matt Rutler gave birth to their second child.

During her pregnancy, Aguilera posed for at least semi-nude for V Magazine. She added back then, "as a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store."

Recently, the Madame Tussauds Museum in London erected a wax statue in honor of her.
