With only two weeks remaining until the upcoming DVD release, One Direction gives their fans an early sneak peek at some of the exclusive footage featured on their latest concert documentary, "One Direction: This Is Us."

For the making of the film, the cameras followed them while the band was on the road, making their latest studio album, "Midnight Memories," and even on their days off as the members spent time with their families.

Director Morgan Spurlock previously teased by saying, "So things that didn't relate to that kind of ended up on the cutting room floor. And hopefully they'll all end up on a great box set/DVD sometime." Now, 1D gives Directioners a better idea of what they can expect from the December 17 disc.

In one of the extra clips, the British boy band opens up about their bandmate Louis Tomlinson. "Louis is a great person to just, like, sit and kind of, like, just admire what he's like," Harry Styles says, while the footage of Tomlinson munching away his snacks and playing pranks is played.

"If it wasn't for Louis, we'd be the most boring band in the world," Niall Horan adds.

In another clip, Tomlinson reveals that Liam Payne is "the daddy" of the One Direction.

"Funniest thing now is that me and Louis did not get on at all," Payne shares the band's early days on the "X Factor" in the U.K. "There was one point where I literally wanted to whack him."

"That's why he got the name Daddy Directioner," Louis Tomlinson explains how Liam Payne, who tries to keep the band members under control, got his nickname. However, Zayn reveals that they have "corrupted" Payne since "X Factor" days.
