Chris Brown and on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran are reportedly heading for reconciliation following their breakup over the R&B star's shocking baby news.

"Karrueche Tran was determined to not speak to him ever again, and he was clearly torn up about it," an insider revealed to Urban Islandz.

However, the couple is supposedly now on speaking terms. A few days ago, one of their mutual friends reached out to the model. Also, they plan to keep their relationship on the down low for now, because "Karrueche knows that she will get some backlash if she goes back to him especially after that Oprah reality show."

Meanwhile, the "New Flame" crooner is considering asking his 9-month-old daughter, Royalty, and her mother Nia Amey to move into his Los Angeles home "for the sake of the baby only."

"Her living with him -- it's on his mind and he's trying to figure out just how that would work," a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "He knows Nia wants to move to L.A. It's a lot cheaper for him to move her in with him that it would be to set her up on her own."

Moreover, Tran will have to accept Brown's family first, in order to reunite with her ex-boyfriend. One source explains to Hollywood Life that Tran will have to "accept his daughter" because Brown wants to be in her life. This also means that the baby's mother will be someone that Brown has to have a relationship with.

At the same time, Brown reportedly understands how much this is for Tran to take on.

"He knows he's asking Karrueche for a lot but feels they've gone through many challenges and this is one that they can and will get through and adjust to," the source added.

Though Tran announced the couple's breakup on social media, it does not seem that she has opened up about it further through this medium. Instead, she seems to be focusing on other things these days. Her last Instagram image is in support of Smile Train. She has teamed up with Wilhelmina Models and Blind Dragon.
