Skullcandy Inc. has created a replacement advertisement in light of Derrick Rose's new injury.

Rose is the main endorser of the company's "Crusher" headphones launched late November. The "Bass You Can Feel" headphones ad ran not only on the internet and on TV, but Rose and the product were also plastered across 25 billboards in Chicago. According to Chicago Business, Skullcandy Inc. has also made use of nine walls, nine rail trestles, five digital billboards, two digital posters and two bus wraps in running the ad for the new headphones.

Incidentally, the November 22 launch date of the "Bass You Can Feel" campaign for Skullcandy was the very same day Rose suffered his second knee injury. According to MRI results, the player reportedly tore the medial meniscus on his right knee.

Due to the injury, Skullcandy was quick to modify its ad campaign for the headphones. The company replaced the "Bass You Can Feel" tagline at the end of the ad. The new replacement line now reads "We all face challenges" with hastag #SupportDRose at the end.

According to the Utah-based company's Executive Vice President of Product Development, Sam Paschel, Skullcandy supports Rose amidst the injury.

"We stand behind Derrick 100 percent and did nothing to change the size or duration of the campaign. We are proud of how Derrick has handled the injury and took every opportunity to support him with some nimble changes to the messaging," Paschel said in a report.

"I think injuries are just part of sports, and the thing you really hope for is that you have an athlete like Derrick on the roster who continues to get back up and do all the things he needs to do to get back to playing."

According to sources, Rose's absence would be shorter if the injury would only require an arthroscopic process. However, should the knee injury call for extensive reattachment or repair surgery, Rose would inevitably miss the entire season.

Rose was apt to recover from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament in the past months. He was scheduled to play the Clippers at the Staples Center as well, reports the Chicago Tribune.
