Nike sneakerheads have a lot of things to be excited about this weekend as several models are scheduled to hit the sneaker market, including new colorways of LeBron James' signature sneaker and Jordan Son of Mars Low.

Nike will release the LeBron 12 EXT on Saturday in "Rubber City" edition, which is officially listed as the Black/Chrome-Black colorway of the signature shoe of the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar.

This new LeBron 12 EXT, which pays tribute to the excellence of James on and off the court, features a black-based upper part with threads similar to that of tires, which replaced the usual "Megafuse" upper of this model. It also has a chrome-based Nike Swoosh logo like the rim of tires and is finished off with an icy translucent outsole.

According to Nike, the LeBron 12 EXT "Rubber City" edition pays homage to Akron, James' hometown, which is known for their long-established rubber industry.

"A city widely recognized for its bustling factories, Akron has produced countless rubber goods, most notably automotive tires for vehicles all over the globe," Nike wrote in a statement. "The "Rubber City" inspiration is brought to life with a rubber upper emulating tire treads. A touch of luxury is added with chrome detailing taking place over the lateral side Swoosh."

This edition will be available starting 10 a.m. ET on Saturday on Nike.com and select Nike retailers worldwide with retail price set at $250 per pair. More photos and release information are available on this link.

Meanwhile, Nike's Jordan Brand is also expected to have a share of the spotlight as they are also set to release new colorways of their popular sneaker models, including the Jordan Son of Mars Low.

The Jordan Son of Mars Low will be released on Friday in "Turquoise Blue" edition, which is officially listed as the White/Midnight Navy-Turquoise Blue-White colorway of the popular sneaker.

"The Son of Low is inspired by a legendary lineup that includes the Jordan III, IV, V, VI and XX. Elephant-print trim, dual Nike Air units and other iconic Jordan elements come together in a white leather upper with Turquoise Blue and Midnight Navy details," the shoe as described by Nike in a statement.

The Jordan Son of Mars Low "Turquoise Blue" edition will be available for $140 on Nike.com and selected stores worldwide. It will also come out in kid's sizing for $120 per pair. Official photos are available on this link.
