Singer Jessie J recently released a beautiful homage to the 'pitches', a.k.a. Barden Bellas, for "Pitch Perfect 2," the follow-up to 2012's smash hit movie.

The new, original song, "Flashlight," features scenes from the film throughout the video as well as Jessie J dressed in a black leather jumper with her signature shiny, short black bob.

The video highlights the bond between the girls and includes the talented and comical cast of "Pitch Perfect 2," which is directed by Elizabeth Banks.

The cast includes: Banks, Australian comedic actress Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee and Hailee Steinfeld with John Michael Higgins and Katey Sagal.

In "Pitch Perfect 2," the vocal powerhouses go to the World Championship, where they take on new rivals--including German foes Das Sound Machine, with whom they have a serious rap battle.

It looks like Jessie J is having a " serious battle" of some sorts herself - but in her case, it's over Twitter.

According to the U.K.'s Mirror, Jessie J has unfollowed half of her followers--leaving her following only 400 accounts on Twitter--making many of her loyal fans extremely upset and bothered. At the same time, the singer doesn't seem to understand why there is such an uproar on social media.

"I find it insane that some people take being unfollowed like a personal attack," she reportedly wrote in a deleted tweet.

"If I punched you in the face fair enough. But I didn't... Meh." she added.

Yikes! Is there is tone there or a high pitch? Either way she sounds lovely in her new song, "Flashlight." Check out her video below.
