The lineup of performing acts has just been announced for this year's Hard Summer Festival, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The two-day Hard Summer Festival, which takes place in Fariplex, California, will feature performances by a number of headlining acts including the Weeknd, The Chemical Brothers, Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson, Schoolboy Q,The Glitch Mob, Tchami, Young Thug and Gorgon City who will all perform on Aug. 1.

On Aug. 2, the headlining acts will be Jack U, Ratatat, Chromeo, Die Antwoord, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, Boys Noize, DJ Mustard & Friends, Caribou, Robin Schulz, Maya Jane Coles, Jamie XX and Hudson Mohawke.

According to the official Hard Summer press release,  the festival will feature a grand total of 90 acts in addition to the headliners performing on five stages within the Hard Festival venue over the the course of two days.

"The uniquely curated line-up ranges from the hottest names on the festival circuit such as ODESZA, Griz and Jamie XX to emerging acts making their first HARD festival debut like Rae Sremmurd, Bakermat, Jauz and Lido," reads the press release, adding, " Expect live acts like Die Antwoord, Caribou, Gorgon City, Years and Years and Ten Walls and DJ sets from a variety of genres encompassing deep house."

In conjunction with announcing the names of the acts to perform at this year's Hard Summer festival, a trailer was also released to promote the upcoming event.

The Hard Summer Festival press release explains that the trailer "pokes fun" at all the drama that usually occurs among electronic musicians and DJs.

The trailer was written and directed by Agata Alexander and follows the fictional story of Dillon Francis who decided to perform at Hard Summer festival in order to solidify himself as a "real musician" being that Hard Summer markets itself as a music festival and not a rave.

The trailer also features Porter Robinson, Skrillex, Chromeo, Destructo and Mija.
