One Direction's highly anticipated fifth studio album may feature rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The Pittsburgh emcee recently recalled the time when he was on the same flight as 1D heartthrob Harry Styles, who promised to collaborate with him in the future.

"He told me I would be the first rapper they'd do it with," he told The Sun.

Wiz also admitted that he is a "huge fan" of the "Steal My Girl" crooners and has a "big respect" for them.

"They're artists and are fans of music, that's what makes them good," he added.

Meanwhile, Styles' bandmate Louis Tomlinson recently got into a Twitter fight with their ex-bandmate, Zayn Malik.

It all started when Malik's producer friend Naughty Boy threw shade at Tomlinson, who of course reacted in bitterness.

"@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can't even sing.. but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh," Naughty Boy wrote.

The former One Direction member then responded.

The Sun then reported that Styles was upset at Tomlinson for causing unnecessary drama and damaging the band's reputation.

"Harry is very aware of 1D's reputation and doesn't like getting into any public scrapes, especially with other members of the band," a source claimed. "It's fair to say his relationship with Louis has been strained for some time, and the last couple of weeks hasn't helped matters."

However, a source insisted that the two were able to put the negativity behind them and continue to work on their forthcoming record alongside Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

"Harry and Louis are working together in the studio in Los Angeles on 1D's next album. They're fine," the insider told The Mirror.
