Fans will finally meet Queen Elizabeth, who is played by "50 Shades of Grey" star Rachel Skarsten, in the "Reign" season finale. The meeting between her and King Francis' mother, Catherine, will undoubtedly be the main event of the finale, "Burn," airing on Thursday.

"The character of Elizabeth, Queen of England, the only living child of Henry VIII and the murdered Anne Boleyn, looms over Mary Queen of Scots for the duration of her life," "Reign" executive producer Laurie McCarthy told the Hollywood Reporter. "Elizabeth has also, without ever stepping onto our stage, loomed over our first two seasons as a forceful and intriguing presence. I have been dying to introduce her to our characters and our audience. Because no single character understands Mary's unique circumstances more. No character is more of a threat to her happiness and her life. Elizabeth's debut in the season finale is a catalyst for events in season three, when 'Reign' will chronicle the lives, loves and tribulations of three queens: Mary, Catherine and now Elizabeth."

"Reign's" Queen Elizabeth is in her 20s and has not been in her sovereignty long. She is hardened by life's events, vulnerable when it comes to love and an adversary who is compassionate toward her rivals.

In the "Reign" season two finale "Burn," Catherine meets with Queen Elizabeth in a shocking plot to seek revenge on Mary, but will Elizabeth give the French matriarch the time of day?

Meanwhile, Mary risks everything to take down Condé, though Francis and Catherine believe she is turning against France.

The sneak peek video clip begins with Mary, dressed in a cloak, riding on horseback into the night. In the next scene, she is with Condé who told her, "You are safe now Mary. I will protect you and our child."

Mary claims to be pregnant. Is she really? Is it Condé's child?

The clip continues, showing Catherine confronting Francis about Mary having ridden off to Condé's camp. "Once again she has betrayed you," Catherine said.

Next, we see Mary standing before Catherine.

"The day Condé became your lover, he needed to die," Catherine told Mary.

"God save you from his wrath," Mary countered.

In the final scene of the clip, Catherine pays Queen Elizabeth a visit.

"What is it you have come to ask of us?" Queen Elizabeth asked.

"I have come to offer you something," Catherine said, and the clip ends.

What could Catherine possibly offer Queen Elizabeth that would hurt Mary? What do you want to happen between the characters on the "Reign" season finale? Share your thoughts and theories in the comment section below.
