Rebel Wilson is going to launch her own plus-size clothing line very soon. She has partnered with Torrid, which is a known fashion brand for the plus-size market.

“Rebel’s got a natural instinct for design,” said Liz Munoz, the senior vice president of design for Torrid in a press release. “She cares about every detail – down to the diamante rivet on the jeans. We love the results. She crushed it.”

“I've never really felt like there's a brand out there in the plus size world that is creating cool stuff, that fits well and is good quality yet affordable,” Wilson said. “It's really only been in the last few years that I've seen companies try. So it was awesome to team with Torrid, who I think are doing such a great job in making plus size fashion relevant and dope.”

As stated in the press release sent out by the “Pitch Perfect 2” star, the limited edition “capsule collection” will be launching in November in time for the holiday season. The line will be named “Rebel for Torrid” and it will feature 25 unique pieces from $28.50 to $125. The types of clothing that will be available will be accessories, jackets, dresses, bottoms, and tops.

Each of these 25 pieces will feature a “personal touch” from the comedienne. The company even singled out some key pieces such as a “koala-print tee” and “microphone-shaped hardware.” Apart from Wilson’s “capsule collection,” the report also confirmed that another collection for next spring is also already in the works.

Another piece of good news that Wilson is presently happy about is the box office results of “Pitch Perfect 2.” The sequel to the “Pitch Perfect” franchise opened to a whopping $70.3 million at this weekend’s box office as reported by Just Jared.

The Hollywood Reporter has stated that these numbers were already more than the gross earnings of the original film, which was only $65 million.

“Pitch Perfect 2” beat “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which starred Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, and Charlize Theron. This action-packed film opened to a relatively impressive $44.4 million -- coming in second place at the box office race.

Wilson may have a lot of reasons to be delighted about, but she is presently under fire for allegedly lying about her age. A source who says they went to the same school has claimed that Wilson’s real name is actually not Rebel Wilson.

“Her name is – or was – Melanie Elizabeth Bownds,” a source revealed to Woman's Day. “And she is 36. She was born in 1979 and we left school in 1997. She was definitely not the class clown – none of us remember her being funny.”
