Century Link Field in Seattle is known as one of the best stadiums in terms of home field advantage but the Seahawks are taking this one step further this week ahead of the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seahawks are limiting the ticket sales to this weekend's NFC Championship Game to only certain states -- and this does not include California, home to 49ers fans.

The Seahawks' ticket page simply read, "Tickets will be available to fans with a billing address in WA, OR, MT, ID, AK, HI and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta."

With this being said, fans from California will still have the chance to buy tickets via sites such as Stub Hub since the ticket will not be sold directly from the team in that case. At this point, Stub Hub may be your only choice - along with perhaps eBay or Craigslist. Here is the latest from the Seahawks as of Monday morning:

"Tickets to the NFC Championship Game have sold out," the team website said. "Fans seeking to purchase tickets are encouraged to use Ticket Exchange, the only authorized ticket resale site associated with the team."

The Seahawks are the top seed in the NFC and although the 49ers were only a wild card team, they had an impressive 12-4 record this season and have already won two playoff games this year. The Seahawks have not had much trouble this season and enjoyed a solid Divisional Playoff victory over the New Orleans Saints. This year marks the third year in a row that the 49ers will have made it to the NFC Championship game.
