Zedd reportedly did not like what Diplo recently said about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Last month, the Los Angeles-based producer dissed the Russian-German DJ's new album "True Colors" on Twitter.

In an interview with Radio.com on June 4, Diplo was asked about his tweet, which has since been deleted, about his fellow EDM star.

"I'm actually not enemies with Zedd by any means," he said. "I just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he's been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM, which to me isn't even a genre."

He went on to say that the "Stay the Night" hitmaker's romance with "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was only a publicity stunt.

"But they pegged him for that," he added. "They've marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music."

A source told HollywoodLife that "Diplo is speaking sort of the truth," adding that the couple started out as just friends before they turned out to be something more than that.

The source then claimed that it eventually did not work out between the two, because Zedd disliked the publicity as well as Gomez's "lingering feelings" for her on-again, off-again lover Justin Bieber.

Also, the source revealed that the "Break Free" DJ is "a little disturbed" by Diplo's recent statement, adding, "because he is in the same world as Diplo, Zedd thinks they should all support each other and not bash each other."

On the other hand, the "Come & Get It" crooner supposedly "doesn't really care" about the haters anymore.

"People talk crap about her all the time," the source added. "Just add this to the long list."
