After a year of ownership, USC Trojans head coach Steve Sarkisian is parting with his Rolling Hills home.

The 41-year-old coach is selling his California property for $9.5 million, Los Angeles Times reported.

Sarkisian bought the 8,250-square-foot gated mansion for $8 million, together with his wife, Stephanie. However, the Times noted that the couple is on their way to having a divorce.

The Rolling Hills home was reportedly built in the late 1980s and had undergone several upgrades. Currently, the grand home includes five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, formal living room, six fireplaces, a modern kitchen with an open floor plan, an elegant dining room, a home theater and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.

It also has a formal entry, wood-beamed ceilings and wide archways.

The expansive luxury residence sitting on 5.21 acres of land has several interesting features for home seekers. The private estate of the coach and once athlete himself mirrors how he prioritizes sports and physical activities in life as a tool to be fit and healthy. The Sarkisian residence has a tennis court, a putting green and a swimming pool equipped with spa.

A 2,200-gallon koi pond and a 500-tree fruit plantation also provide a nature-loving appeal of the ranch-inspired estate. A covered pavilion outdoors adds charm to the estate, and it is equipped with a fireplace, a kegerator and a barbecue station.

Inside, the master suite boasts his and hers walk-in closets, a fireplace and a personal exercise area, which can also be converted to an office.

Buyers may inquire through the listing agent, Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby'€™s International Realty, according to the Times.

Sarkisian's Found His Way Back to USC

Sarkisian or "Sark" to people close to him served as the mentor for the University of Washington football team before he was officially named as the Trojans head coach in December 2013, USCTrojans.com noted.

USC athletic director Pat Haden described Sarkisian as "an innovative coach who recruits well and develops players."

"He is a proven and successful leader. He connects with people. He has energy and passion. He knows how to build a program and create a culture that we value. He is committed to academic success and rules compliance. And he understands the heritage and tradition of USC," Haden added.
