“Scream Queens” has just released its newest promo teaser, and it gives fans a quick glimpse of what the Fox show will be like.

As seen in the short video, every member of the cast is a target, and Entertainment Weekly reported in April that Ryan Murphy will only reveal the identity of the mystery killer at the very end of the show.

Regardless of their individual differences, the cast of “Scream Queens” season 1 were together at a sorority party. The cool girls, or the Chanels, Abigail Breslin and Emma Roberts, the losers, Keke Palmer and Lea Michele, and the dean, Jamie Lee Curtis, were all shown inside the sorority house, while the killer – wearing a devil suit – was lurking right outside.

The song that kept the party alive was Charli XCX’s “Die Tonight?,” which was perfect for the “Scream Queens” story, especially with its line, “We are gonna die tonight.” It remains unclear which particular character will be killed off first as the cast members have been pretty secretive about their roles.

However, Nick Jonas, who will be a guest star in the much awaited series, gave a few hints about his character in the show. The “Jealous” singer already appeared in various TV series, but in "Scream Queens" he will be portraying his first comedic role, another report from Entertainment Weekly said.

He admitted that he didn't read the script when he signed on for Murphy’s show, a move, which he said was pretty unusual for him. “With Ryan, you just have to trust that it is going to be great,” Jonas shared. “He has an incredible talent – a man with a lot of vision and care for what he does. I was blown away at getting the chance to work with him.”

Jonas will be playing the role of a preppy frat boy named Boone, and Jonas said he was “drawn” to the character. “The idea about his character, at face value, is one thing,” Jonas added. “But, you find out later that there is something else going on. It is going to keep people on their toes. I cannot tell you much, but it is full of surprises.”

The singer-actor didn't share too many spoilers, though,. When asked if Boone will make it past the season’s first few episodes, he said, “I cannot say.”

“It kills me because I know things that other people do not. But, just expect to be surprised.”
