Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are saying goodbye to their Hollywood Hills home.

The "Spy" actor and his supermodel-actress girlfriend have offered the luxury California compound on the market for almost $9 million, Los Angeles Times reported. The couple purchased the walled estate four years ago for $7,325,000, noted the site, citing property records.

The L.A. estate was formerly owned by "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" actor Ben Stiller and "Longmire" TV series star Lou Diamond Phillips at another time.

The classic compound, resting on more than one-half an acre of lot, was said to be renovated through the talented works of home and building interior designing firm Roman & Williams. The company, which is credited for the Ace Hotel lobbies, is actually composed of Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer, a husband-wife team deriving their firm's name from their maternal grandfathers, Roman Alesch and William Winters, according to the New York Times.

The Spanish-inspired home, built before the 1930s, rests on grounds that feature vibrant marine-themed tile fountains and blue stair risers going to the relaxing pool. The next owners may also linger for a while in the outdoor patio before swimming in the tempting water.

The old Hollywood home showcases six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a living room, a family room, a library, and a gym.

Variety also noted that the 5,334-square-foot residence, as described by the L.A. Tax office, comes with a formal dining room and a fully-fitted kitchen. Outdoors, there is a motor court and a detached two-car garage with living quarters above. Several resting and meditation places can also be found in the property like verandas, terraces, and balconies.

Photos of the home featured on the blog site show a vibrant abode surrounded with beautiful and lively plants. A photo of a slightly-opened door under an arched frame gives a hint not just of the lovely gardens but what one can expect inside the property. The interior bursts with love for nature as it displays plants in almost every nook and the theme is translated in paintings hanging on the walls.

The ambiance of the home is made naturally bright by wide and tall windows that let light in. The interplay between dark and light colors is brilliant as it emphasizes the contrast among the colors black, dark brown, yellow and white.

The 47-year-old actor and 28-year-old actress have acquired the services of Ben Bacal of Rodeo Realty as their listing agent, noted the news site. Buyers may direct their question on the property to Mr. Bacal.

The couple also own another Hollywood Hills property, which they bought for $2.7 million in May, noted Trulia. Aside from that, the pair are proud owners of a five-bedroom Beverly Hills home purchased for almost $13 million in March.
