His match with Jessie Vargas is not over yet but still, Timothy Bradley has challenged a formidable opponent who fights in a heavier weight division.

"I'll fight Triple G. He puts on his pants just like I put on my pants. I'm not a coward, and I got skills. I believe in my skills. I'll fight him. Nobody else wants to fight him. I'll fight him at 160. I will. Everybody starts stuttering when they mention Triple G. I want that 5th world championship," Bradley, the former two-division world champion told FightHype.

Bradley impressed several boxing fans with this statement because even the camp of the undefeated boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is not even considering a clash between "The Money" and the great undefeated Kazakh at 154.

Golovkin, who has scored 30 knockout wins in his 33 professional fights, weighs more than 165 pounds and Floyd Mayweather Sr. is not comfortable with the fighter rehydrating and going several pounds beyond 154 just before the match. The elder Mayweather even proposed that there should be a re-hydration clause in case "GGG" and "The Money" decide to face each other.

"If I was Floyd, I would tell him to hold the weight until the fight. Fight at 154, 150 and make sure that he holds that weight the next day," Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.

Although it may be a great show of confidence, Bradley may not fully know the difficulty of colliding with the 33-year-old IBO/WBA middleweight champion at 160. Bradley has not even fought at 154 yet, and going up two division levels from welterweight is surely not a piece of cake, BoxingNews24.com commented.

Moreover, before he focuses on his possible fight with "GGG," he must first channel his energy on his June 27 fight at the StubHub Center in California against undefeated World Boxing Association super lightweight world champion Vargas.

Another threat in facing Vargas is his new trainer, the legendary Mexican fighter, Erik "El Terrible" Morales, who is confident that his boxer will win and claim the vacant World Boxing Organization welterweight world title.

"I've trained many fighters in Mexico. But Jessie is the best fighter I will be working with and this is the biggest fight, against Bradley. We will win this fight. Jessie will put on pressure with intelligence and mix it up, using counter-punching. Bradley likes to go into his comfort zone in the ring. We will attack there too," said the former four-time world champion as quoted by BoxingNews24.com.

However, for Bradley, his motivation to win is his five children.

"I'm highly motivated because I want that fifth World Championship. I got five kids and I want to be able to take a picture with that fifth World Championship belt around my son... 'cause each of my kids have[sic] a belt to hold," the 31-year-old fighter told FightHype.
