Do you prefer Apple's iPad Air or the iPad Mini?

You certainly can't go wrong either way, but Apple fans have been leaning towards the iPad Air as of late, data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners says.

The information, which is based on sales numbers as reported by The Inquirer, could be a sign of tech fans gravitating towards the iPad Air thanks to its versatility as a potential laptop replacement. They basically already do look like computers when the keyboard is snapped on.

The iPad Air was responsible for more than half of all iPad sales -- 60 percent -- in the early portion of 2013. The iPad Air made up 41 percent of iPad sales in the final month of 2013.

Interestingly enough, the regular iPad has seen its stock fall dramatically and this could be a sign of things to come. When Apple introduced the MacBook Air, the regular MacBook became unnecessary and the company discontinued the once-popular computer in favor of just making the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro.

Both of these devices have received positive reviews and they are seen as quite similar. Of course, the biggest difference between the two is in size as the iPad Mini is significantly smaller. The iPad Air does have a faster processor than the iPad Mini, but just by a little bit. Overall, these two are solid options that can cater to different people in different situations. One person may prefer a larger screen for video while another person might want to get the smaller iPad in order to save space. For someone on a budget, the iPad Mini is much cheaper and comes in at $100 less than the bigger tablet.
