Manchester United and its general manager Louis Van Gaal are not interested in bringing back Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to Old Trafford even if the Mexican still has one year left on his contract with the Red Devils.

The Mexican striker, who injured his collarbone in a friendly a few weeks ago, has been hot on the market since news broke that Manchester is willing to let him walk for £8 million ($12.5 million), Daily Mail reported. Now, MLS club Orlando City and Premier League's West Ham lead the pack of Hernandez' suitors.

Sevilla, Roma and Wolfsburg have also shown interest in Chicharito.

New Hammers on a major recruitment drive

West Ham chief Slaven Bilic expressed interest in beefing up the team's frontline with the addition of Hernandez, according to Goal's sources. Hernandez is now Bilic's immediate target as he looks to bolster the team's attacking choices. West Ham has submitted an official bid amounting to £9 million ($14 million).

It appears the team is playing their cards since news about Van Gaal setting his sights on Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho, Thomas Muller, Edinson Cavani, Harry Kane and Karim Benzema surfaced, the Daily Star reported.

Orlando eager to bring Chicharito to the MLS

Orlando City offered Hernandez £6.39 million ($10 million), which could potentially make him the highest paid MLS footballer, according to Spanish newspaper Mediotiempo

Flavio Augusto da Silva, owner of MLS club Orlando City, told the Orlando Sentinel and other members of the media that he wants to take Chicharito to Florida. The owner is aware of the several teams also gunning to get the Mexican player, including other MLS clubs.

"Regarding Chicharito, of course he's a great player that every club in the world would love to have and we'd love the chance to have him," Augusto da Silva said.

"Right now we don't have anything done, and you know during the process of negotiations - where many clubs have interest, including us, because why not - the less we talk about it the better. So we'll see if there is a possibility and then we'll move forward," he added.

It is believed that Chicharito would go to Orlando City FC and become what David Beckham was to the Galaxy when he arrived in MLS, noted Mediotiempo.

Hernandez made nine goals in his short stay at the Bernabeu last season, according to his ESPN player profile.
