The wait is far from over for the fans of "Street Fighter 5" as the upcoming title is still set to come out next year. But Capcom has recently released a new trailer that teased the exciting elements to look forward to in the latest title that includes a new character to its roster.

The new character called Necalli was first introduced over the weekend at the Evolution Championship Series held in Las Vegas, Nevada. A first look at Necalli was given through a trailer that premiered at the event.

The video, which was more than a minute long, showed Necalli's unique V-Trigger move that changes the way he looks. When applied, his V-Trigger transforms his long hair into a bright red hue and gives him extra strength to ground and pound his opponents to death.

Before Necalli's big reveal, it was also announced that a beloved character from the first "Street Fighter" title will make a comeback in the upcoming iteration.

A previous report on Latin Post said Ken Masters was confirmed to be a playable character in "Street Fighter 5."

However, changes have been made to the favorite character. Ken's look is quite different from the ones players have seen throughout the years, His iconic red robes have been changed and is only recognizable as part of his outfit on his lower torso. His free-flowing hair has also been revamped and is now restricted in a ponytail.

According to reports, other old favorites are also set to return to "Street Fighter 5" but Capcom has yet to make an announcement to confirm this.

Aside from the new characters, an exciting change is coming to the new title in the form of its downloadable contents.

During a panel set at the EVO 2015 event, it was revealed that gamers will not need to shell out money in order to purchase future expansion packs for the upcoming title.

Capcom will offer for free all DLCs that affect the gaming system while additional characters can be acquired through a new in-game currency, as noted on The Playstation Blog.

"Street Fighter 5" will offer the "Fight Money" currency where players get to earn money while playing the game as well as the "Zenny" currency that would entail using actual money to purchase the content.

Capcom hopes the new set-up will encourage "more long-term engagement, because the more you play the game, the more you are rewarded and can earn new content." Players who do not wish to spend extra money aside from the game disc will not be forced to do so. They can simply play the characters that arrived with the disc that they purchased.

"Street Fighter 5" will be available to PS4 and PC in 2017.
