Gloria Trevi is back with new music, sharing details of her coming album "El Amor," a collection of the singer's versions of some of Latin music's biggest hits.

"It's very easy and very complicated. Everything I make in my life -- good or bad, mistakes or success -- everything I made was for love," Trevi told Billboard.

The singer shared the list of tracks with Billboard and gave a bit of background on tracks like "Como Yo Te Amo," which is about "that big love you feel for somebody" and explained that she was singing like how she would like to be in love with a man.

The star also shared details about the song "Cama Y Mesa," which Trevi called "a sexy song" because it deals with very intimate details like comparing a lover to food or lipstick. The 47-year-old also revealed that she loves the songs production because it includes a big band and is very upbeat.

"I sing that song like a man, thinking of how I want a man to talk to me," said Trevi, who explained her album has multiple sides and singing from the point of view her lover is one. "There's another side to this record that is about the woman that I am and how I love," she added.

According to Reuters, during an exclusive discussion with fans at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, about her upcoming album, Trevi also shared stories about the recording of her album and explained how it helped save her marriage to Armando Gomez.

Trevi revealed she was going to file for divorce from Gomez during the making of her album, but had a change of heart.

"El Amor" will be released on Aug. 21. The tour, named after the album, will begin at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on the same day the album premieres.
