NBC's "Chicago P.D." returns in the fall with a fresh face and a new life for Erin Lindsey (Sophia Bush).

Fans will see how Lindsey is coping with life after quitting her job at the precinct, according to MNR Daily. Will she continue to go in a downward spiral?

In the last season, Lindsey lost her best friend while having to deal with a group of corrupt narcotics cops. She started to feel guilty and returned to her old drinking habits. Where will she pick up in Season 3? Will she still have to battle with alcohol abuse?

Meanwhile, Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) proposed to his love Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati). Will they finally tie the knot like fans have been waiting for?

Last season also left off with Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) raising money in order to buy the boxing gym that he grew up in. If it wasn't for that gym, he doesn't know how his life would have turned out.

Look out for some new characters as well. In the new season, a person from Hank Voight's (Jason Beghe) dark past will be introduced. Eddie Little (Clancy Brown) is an inmate that Voigt met when he was in prison. Will Little tell some secrets of Voight's that none of us know about? Why is he here in the first place?

P.D.'s third season will also overlap with "Chicago Fire," where police officers will investigate the disappearance of Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer). Voight and Antonio may be involved in Casey's case.

Showrunner Matt Olmstead hints that Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) will be angry at Antonio for what happened to Casey. Does he know where Casey really is?

"There is some blame to go around, especially as it relates to Voight," Olmstead said. "Voight goes and gets Casey to step up, and it goes south. I don't think even Voight knows the full depth of what's going on in this place.

"Chicago P.D." returns to NBC on Sept. 30.
