The hottest team in baseball? The Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays have won 11 in a row and will face the Yankees in a huge three-game set tonight in Toronto. With the trade deadline acquisitions of Troy Tulowitzki and David Price, the Jays are set to return to the postseason for the first time since 1993. Here are five reasons why the Blue Jays will win the American League East:

5. Starting Rotation Will Get Them There: With the addition of David Price, Toronto has the best pitching staff in the American League East. Also for the first time since the Roy Halladay era, the Blue Jays have an ace in their rotation. In the shadow of David Price are R.A. Dickey and Mark Burhle, who are two very good veteran pitchers with postseason experience. In the first half of the season, the Blue Jays' starting pitching ERA was 4.18. In the second half of the season, the starting pitching ERA is 2.18 ERA. The Jays have a better rotation than the Yankees.

4. Troy Tulowitzki: The Blue Jays shocked the baseball world when they acquired all-star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki from the Rockies. Ever since that trade, Tulowitzki is hitting .231 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI's. Those numbers don't raise eyebrows, but Tulowitzki brings leadership and power to the lineup. It will just be a matter of time until he wakes up at the right time.

3. Josh Donaldson: My pick for the American League MVP. Donaldson is having a sensational year, hitting .293 with 31 home runs and 85 RBI's. Donaldson will have to play like an mvp in the stretch run if the Jays want to win the East.

2. A Slightly Easy Remaining Schedule: The Yankees have a slightly easier schedule than the Blue Jays, but the way the Jays are playing, they look unstoppable.

1. The Drought: Remember last year when the Royals ended their postseason drought and went to the World Series? This year's Blue Jays could be the Royals of last year. They are set on ending their playoff drought this year.
