Varni was a guest at the Daytime After Dark podcast when he revealed that the popular soap opera's storylines will have a slight change in direction. The producer also announced in the podcast interview that screenwriters Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante have replaced Ron Carlivati. In this week's episodes, Elizabeth will make sure that Jake's real identity as Jason Morgan is kept a secret after he proposed. She will have a talk with Nikolas to make sure that everything is quiet and no loose ends will happen in hiding the truth from Jake, reported We Love Soaps.

But it seems that no truth can be hidden for so long as Hayden will finally tell Jake that she has not lost her memory. Aside from that, We Love  is also reported that she will finally tell Jake of his real identity as Jason Morgan and this will keep Nikolas and Elizabeth on their toes as their lies and scheming is finally revealed.

Meanwhile, Franco is being blamed for the death of Silas and Nina feels guilty that she has decided to take the fall for Franco and admit to the murder. This was after she finally realized that Ava has been threatening Franco.

Nina confronts Ava about blackmailing Franco and their intense conversation has left Nina with the last word to say and looking more dangerous than Ava.

Ava's scheming has finally backfired as Scott accidentally reveals her true identity, which will have huge repercussions, wrote Soap Central.

Drama will also unfold between Lucas and Brad as the latter explains his past. Last Friday, Rosalie walked in on the two as they were talking about their wedding and it was revealed to Lucas that she is Brad's wife.

"General Hospital" fans will also see the return of Olivia Falconeri to Port Charles. While she tells Lulu and Dante hat kept her busy while away from the town, it seemed that she is not being entirely truthful and might be keeping a few secrets of her own.

The mob's activities continue to grow in the backdrop of the story, which will lead Jordan to invite Sonny and question him. But he maintains his innocence. Julian also denies being involved in the mob, but Sonny and Olivia do not believe his words and think he is up to something.
