The top ranking contestants of this year's Miss Bumbum competition have been revealed and Luciane Hoepers, from Santa Catarina, leads the pack of models hoping to win the crown and title of Brazil's best bottom. 

Hopper leads the pack with 16. 3 percent of the vote, according to website XEU.comCamila Gomes, who represents the state of Minas Gerais, follows Luciane Hoepers with 8.33 percent. In third place is the representative from Piauí, Claudia Pires, who has 7.64 percent of the votes, followed by Melina Maia, from the state of Amazonas, with 7.39 percent and Débora Danriu, from Tocantins, with 6.51 percent of the vote.

While fans get to help pick who moves on to the live part of the competition through online voting, contestants can still be removed from the competition due to new guidelines in this year's competition.

To participate in the competition contestants had to prove that their derrieres were au naturale because of the controversy surrounding last year's winner, who revealed she had surgically enhanced her derriere before the competition.

Past disqualifications also included that of Livia Santos in 2014, who was disqualified for attempting to rig the competition. 

The 27 contestants currently competing for fan votes were chosen from more than 500 applicants. Only 15 of the 27 will be chosen to move on to the televised portion of the competition scheduled to air on Nov. 9, reported Yahoo! News

The competition's youngest contestant, Fernanda Paulino, was recently revealed to be 21. Paulino, who represents Mato Grosso and is also a veterinary student, says she hopes to become the winner of the 2015 competition.

"I have the profile and despite my age, I can win," Paulino said, Globo reported. "I want that title! I want to graduate, working in the area, but want to be one of the beauties of the country."
